This book featured in the shelf is our Wedding Guest Book. "Dave Dances"
What we did:
We changed our living room within a week and did it all ourselves. We painted the wall Sherwin Williams Deep Maroon to have them match the couches better. The initial red we had clashed pretty bad but at the time, we just couldn't re-paint!
We then used the same red to paint the back of the bookshelves to give it some depth.
We bought curtains and rods, new blinds for the back window, rearranged the furniture, mounted the TV on the wall, and bought some new decorations to complete the room.

Still to do:
Replace cabinet doors with glass doors
Put all of media into glass doors
Hide cords
Take scalloped trim off of bookshelf and replace with straight trim
